There were multiple late night food options for travelers rolling in late.
The Steak & Shake Restaurant was very good! Billy Sam's barbecue restaurant! It's a good place to eat as well!!
Did have the opportunity to see much of Hays. What I did see was nice and all facilities visited were clean. People were very nice!
The brick streets in downtown were beautiful! We walked the Fort Hays State University along the river and saw a heron!
Very convenient place to stop when crossing Kansas.
