Kingsland experiences mild winters and muggy summers, so choosing the time you want to visit depends on what you want to do while you're there. Summer brings the most visitors to the area. However, you'll find plenty of activities and attractions to enjoy.
Fall is a lovely shoulder season for visiting Kingsland. Average temperatures in September start out in the upper 80s, but by November you'll feel comfortable with averages in the low 70s. Since many summer visitors head home after Labor Day, you can start to find some good hotel deals during this season. Just keep in mind that lows can start to dip into the 50s during late fall.
Kingsland experiences average highs in the 60s from December to February. While that doesn't make ideal weather to visit the nearby seashore, you can still find several indoor attractions open for business. Plus, with low hotel rates, winter is a great season to find a good deal for your visit.
Like fall, spring is another nice shoulder season in Kingsland. You'll have average highs in the low 70s in March, but by May you'll enjoy temperatures in the mid-80s.
