Nice small town
My wife really liked Aiken, the people, the weather. We're from the Pacific Northwest so SC is something very different from what we're used to.
Aiken is a quaint area. I especially like the stores and unique shops on Richland Lane.

Obviously, we loved Aiken for the horse community. Stable View Farm was lovely and the staff was exceptional! We were very touched by the Veterans display downtown. We did not stay long but plan to return so that we can complete our history tour and complete our "passport" - such a great idea!

Aiken is a lovely city!! The downtown area is beautiful! We ate at a restaurant named "What's Cooking Downtown" and the food was excellent! We visited Newberry Hall and the food there was exceptional as well. Aiken is truly a lovely place to visit.
We selected this Inn because we had folks coming in from Europe and up north. We knew they would enjoy being able to walk around the town and visit the shops and restaurants. It all worked out great and they all loved it.
Very quaint town. It was very scenic. I met family for dinner at Applebee's next to hotel.
