There were many things for tourists to do! We visited Lambeau Field with a tour. We also visited Harley Davidson Museum as well. Good options were diverse. Appleton itself is compact, everything nearby.

Appleton is a neat town, full of chains, so if you like the comfort of home, it's got it all! The Fox Valley Mall is really fun, with lots of stores...it felt like a blast to the past! It's a small town with big city feel and you can get around quickly and easily.
We were only there for a short time. Our grandson played in a basketball tournament at the Champion Center, a really nice facility.
I like downtown Appleton. It was quaint and clean.

We were in town for our daughter's wedding so we didn't do much else in the city. Other than the road construction every where we needed to be (church, reception hall) it was easy to get around even though we were not from the area.
