Exceeded my expectations of experiencing the culture of the island!
We liked staying in the downtown area. The Panama Canal was neat. We also loved the Biomuseo.
Panama City offers plenty of shopping and restaurants catering to every palette. There are people walking at all hours and police pretty much everywhere making us feel safe. Also everyone was so kind and willing to help.
The hotel was located in the city which was near many restaurants and shopping.
Loved seeing the contrast between old and new, the views, the rooftop bars, the wildlife and the people.

Very modern downtown; buildings very unique and worth trip to view. Old Town has best entertainment and restaurants .
Beautiful country and people with nice beaches and historical sites.
The city is very developed with good shopping, you must go to Albrook Mall. Everything is within walking distance.
I enjoyed the tour to the Panama Canal. Our tour guide Rosalba was very clear in her explanation. Our tour to Casco Antiguo with tour guide Natasha was helpful as well. Tours were done to enlighten us about the city of Panama.
It's all a matter of individual taste, but for someone from the Midwest USA I find it has a lively vibe and generally friendly people. Do not expect the order and cleanliness of a typical Midwest city, but Panama has a lot to offer and I plan to return often.
