Easy access to downtown Montreal with a quick trip over the Jacques Cartier Bridge. Old Longueuil has turned their restaurant row into pedestrian access only during summer. Nice choice of places with patio seating if you don't want to fight city traffic. If you're coming for the fireworks exhibitions, you can easily get to a close viewing place without waiting hours to leave the island/La Ronde/Parc Jean Drapeau. We were back at the hotel in 10 minutes.
