The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is pretty cool!
We visited Jimmy's Bar and Grill, the food was good and at a good price. Waitress was good also.

The room size, quiet environment, complimentary breakfast, clean pool, and staff who were responsive and helpful.
Had a nice walk around on Friday night. Walked the Riverwalk in the morning. We enjoyed that.
We came for the Studebaker Drivers Club Meet at the fairgrounds which was a splendid event. Didn't see much of the city but we've been there before and Dubuque is a very comfortable city with plenty of amenities.

Downtown Dubuque was beautiful and historic!
The area of the hotel was close to shopping and restaurants and seemed like a generally safe area. Didn't do much outside of baseball games at local fields. The Field of Dreams movie site in Dyersville was the highlight of our three night stay.
7 Hills Brewery is right across the street…good food and friendly staff.

The architecture in the city is awesome. It is the oldest city in Iowa, and it is fun just to drive around town and get pictures of the old homes, churches, etc.

Loved the elevator that goes up the hillside, loved the river cruise and food at Catfish Charlie's. The river walk is delightful.
It is spread out so stay where you will spend most of your time so you can walk places.
Good friendly people who care about visitors. Clean city, lots of activities to see and do, close to the Field of Dreams and the interesting town of Farley. Great restaurants and views of the Mississippi river.

There are many things to do. You are close to the Mall with shopping and the trampoline park. There is the River Museum which is amazing for kids, with different exhibits throughout the year. When the weather permits there are many great parks as well as the casino and boat tours.
Dubuque was beautiful! Texas Roadhouse was also very accommodating and had reserved seating for our group of 40. We enjoyed the visit!
The memorial to the military was one of the best we have seen so far. Eagle Point park was great too.
