Town was really cool, gets you out off the desert heat of Southern AZ
We love the old Courthouse, especially when it has been strung with Christmas lights. Many stores are within walking distance from the Courthouse. There are good restaurants that are "mom and pop" places with very good food. Prescott is like a "smaller town" feeling, and there are friendly people milling around from all parts of the country. We want to come and live here!
The Whiskey Row area of town has nice restaurants and gift shops, and the town square looks like a traditional square from the old west.
There are plenty of little antique shops and food stops to walk around and see. There are also lots of beautiful historic homes to see if driving around is more your thing.

I like Prescott a lot. It's a growing city with many amenities and mountain charm.
