Score of City:
5.0 / 5

There is no such city where stereotypes are proven true. You can walk on its small charming street, saunter along the Seine river, cross its various bridges, grab a nice croissant and baguette at Boulangeries before visiting the most beautiful Hausmannien buildings and monuments. You can also experience the most beautiful view of the city by climbing the Eiffel tower. When comes the meal, nice brasseries will offer you various typical French dishes. When the clock strikes midnight, the streets are all yours and dancing venues are hosting all types of dancers and singers. A beautiful city at human size where you can walk from neighbour to neighbour and discover its various secrets. Buses are frequent and can drop you quickly anywhere, the metro is also easy access and well served. The more pleasant period of the year would be from April to December as parisiens hibernate during winter (January-March). So much to say about this city and one trip is never enough to fully discover the city of Love.

Between July and August, visitors flood the city, and locals tend to flee. The Parisian summer is comfortable, with highs in the mid 70s, lows in the upper 50s, and ample sunshine.Summer events increase crowds even more. The Fête de St-Denis and Fête de la Musique take place in June, while the Tour de France and Bastille Day add to the excitement in July. If you're not interested in participating in these popular events, avoid these times. However, if you want to experience the festivities, a summer stay might be the best pick for you. You'll find moderate traffic and corresponding hotel rates between September and November and between March and May. International Ready-to-Wear Fashion Shows take place in September. The Fête d'Automne extends from September to December, offering a calendar packed with entertainment. If you're willing to brave the cold, you'll find the best hotel rates during this time. You can also enjoy the Fête de Saint-Sylvestre and Le Salon Nautique de Paris in December.

Best Time to Travel to Paris

Though many people would say that the best time to visit Paris is in spring or in summer, it really depends on the person. If you do not like to pack a lot and like easy travels, then spring or summer is a good choice for you. Of course, at the time the city is beautiful and you can enjoy a great weather while exploring the city. But remember that the city might be packed with tourists at that time and you have to start planning your trip earlier than usual to make sure that there are rooms available to book. However, autumn or winter is also beautiful in Paris and you get to see a different side of a city. During a colder period, Paris is also full of tourists but not as much as during the spring or summer. In winter Paris looks really magical, so in the end, it's just up to you to decide when you want to visit this city.
