Carlson Coffee Company was a very nice place to have breakfast.
Everything is close by
The hotel is clean and modern. It also has a really nice gym/exercise area. The wi-fi is strong and the coffee in the morning is always very good. The breakfast is satisfactory.

We only stayed one night. Went To Dell's to eat (which was amazing and our waiter was awesome) then to our room to sleep for the night.
Spent three nights in Tucumcari due to weather. Saw Dinosaur Museum (excellent). County Historical Museum (very interesting). Ate at Pow-Wow Restaurant and Lizard Lounge - great food.
