SLC downtown area is busy and a bit hectic. But within the walls of this hotel it peaceful and beautiful.

I was born here so I love the place. The Natural History Museum is very worthwhile, Red Butte Gardens are lovely, Temple Square very interesting. Driving to the mountains is so easy and the downtown shopping area is cleverly designed.

SLC, absolutely surrounded by snow-capped peaks, is beautiful. Evening ambience around the city is lively; everyone is taking advantage of the recently arrived Spring. Trees and flowers are budding, streets are clean, air is crisp. People were courteous and offered ready smiles. It was a good time to be in SLC.
