Bavarian Lodge can also be looked at as a worthy alternative to Adventure Inn. Even though its rooms are a touch smaller than what tourists would like, the fact that it is a very comfortable and cosy lodge turns things in its favor. 

To further the Bavarian feel, we would advise tourists to check out Linderhof Inn, a typically Bavarian lodge that stands out from the crowd of affordable Leavenworth hotels due to its authentic Bavarian hospitality. 

Need Some Luxury? There's Plenty to be had in Leavenworth! 

Tourist who prefer to turn their vacations into an expensive and elaborate affair need to brace themselves, because what we are going to share here will definitely make them want to visit Leavenworth right away. 

Housing over three dozen five star properties, Leavenworth is perhaps the only town that manages to fly low and beat the tourism radar in America. Agreed that bigwigs of hospitality industry “ Hilton, InterContinental and Hyatt “ are absent from making to the luxury scene in Leavenworth, but it hardly makes any difference. The local flavor of five star and regal treatment through home-grown luxury hotels in Leavenworth is good enough to make tourists want to stay forever. 

Enzian Inn tops the charts in that respect. It's not at all a huge establishment. But very few resorts can hold a candle to its quality of comfort and style. Featuring all the amenities from in-house heated pools to complimentary sauna and spa, it leaves no efforts untried in order to please its guests. 

Icicle Inn Village Resort, however, provides very steep competition to Enzian Inn. Not trying to be subtle about it, it calls itself the best resort in town, and we couldn't find many facts that can contradict these claims. 

Hotels Near Leavenworth Airport and Amtrak Station 

Leavenworth, quite unfortunately, has no airport of its own. Tourists coming from a fair distance usually land at Seattle Airport and board a bus or Amtrak from there to Leavenworth. 

As there is no airport in the town, we will shift our focus to Leavenworth Amtrak Station, also lovingly called as ˜Icicle Station'. Amtrak Empire Builder train has regular stops at Leavenworth, and it is a convenient way of reaching the town from Seattle or Spokane. 

There are not many lodges in the vicinity of the station. Typical inns and Bavarian lodges can be found in the area, but it is much better to travel to town “ a drive of around 5 minutes “ than find a hotel near the station.

The best way to spend your holiday in Leavenworth, if you are not a fan of hotel or resort stay, is to rent a country cottage.

Leavenworth has gorgeous weather during summer months, with longer days and bearable temperatures. In the winters, however, things take a worse turn and a trip to Leavenworth becomes a forgone possibility. 

Even reaching the town by road becomes a tough ask as snow starts disrupting vehicular traffic. So, if you wish to visit Leavenworth, our only word of advice would be to stick to summer months, June and July.
