Although summers in Fort Bragg are very cool, this is still the most popular time to visit. Average high temperatures from June to August are in the low to mid-60s. Summer is the driest season of the year, so it's a popular time for festivals and other outdoor events. That means if you're looking for a hotel deal, summer isn't the season to find one.
Fall doesn't bring too much in the way of temperature changes to Fort Bragg. September through November sees average highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. However, the big change is the start of the rainy season, which begins in November. If you're interested in a low hotel rate, you'll start to find some in fall as summer crowds head home.
Even though snow is rare in Fort Bragg, winter is still the slowest season, which makes it a good time to find a hotel deal. Average highs from December to February are in the low 50s. However, keep in mind that winter is the wettest season, and the area sees between 6 and 8 inches of rainfall each month.
