Victorville has a high-desert climate, which gives visitors a taste of four distinct seasons. The weather is usually more pleasant during the spring and fall, and hotel rates tend to stay low throughout the shoulder seasons. If you're planning a trip and want to take advantage of the area's outdoor recreational opportunities, you can't go wrong with a spring or autumn visit.
Summers in Victorville can reach 110 degrees, but since the desert receives little rain, you won't be bombarded by humidity. Thanks to summer events such as the Route 66 Bluegrass Festival, peak tourist season is worth the visit if you don't mind paying a little extra for your hotel room.
The winter months in Victorville are generally pleasant, with highs hovering around 60 degrees. Peaceful and not crowded
The only restaurant was just about on the Motel 6 property. It was only open one of the mornings we were there. We had breakfast there & couldn't have been more pleased with the service & the food was quite good.
Small city compared to San Bernardino and Riverside. There's the mall, movie theaters, and the Route 66 museum which is pretty neat.
Have been there many times before. It has grown quite a bit. Getting much too big, but people are friendly.
