Petosky is my favorite place to visit in the area for the shopping and restaurants! I also love the beachfront park. There is so much to do and enjoy but it's not as crowded or bustling as Traverse City.

I will send "Thank-You" cards to just about every pharmacy in Petoskey. I forgot to pack my heart medication (we live in the suburbs of Detroit) and although none of the pharmacies there had it, they all checked all the surrounding locations to see if and where it was available. Rite Aid in Kalkaska did (closest place) so I was able to get it there. But, everyone in Petoskey was just so accommodating to help me find it...It is a beautiful place to visit, so very scenic. We also were able to visit Petoskey State Park with beautiful water and a sandy beach.....

It is one of the prettiest cities in northern Michigan! I loved Bay Harbor Park. It's a great place to have an outdoor lunch and walk my dog. The view is amazing!
