And, The Okanogan County Fair is held annually and is one of the largest and most popular fairs and carnivals in the area. It features a wide variety of attractions and events, including carnival rides, country music concerts, and more. Visitors can enjoy an assortment of food and drink options, as well as shopping opportunities. The Okanogan County Fair is perfect for a fun-filled day with family and friends. Besides this, every year in August, the Omak Western and Native Art Show showcases the work of artists from the Pacific Northwest. The hike to the summit has stunning views from the top. On a clear day, hikers can see all the way to the other mountains and rockies. Finally, no trip to Omak would be complete without a visit to the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area. It is a 14,000-acre protected zone, home to a variety of wildlife, including elk, deer, bighorn sheep, and cougars. There are a number of hiking trails and camping sites within the wildlife area so you'll be sure to see all the beautiful landscapes it has to offer.
