The Berkeley Springs center is around 11 miles west of Fort Frederick State Park and 14 miles northwest of City Hospital.
Below are reviews of the city of Berkeley Springs, WV from an actual visitor's perspective.
My highlight was visiting Cacapon State Park for a wedding.
The food and the antique shops are amazing! The downtown area is great! I could spend a whole day down there shopping!
Artistic community, lots of activities, gorgeous state park with spa, another state park, Cacapon State Park, 12 miles south with stunning hikes, golf, mountain trails, unspoiled, nature activities. Ice House Museum and retro movie theater in town, wonderful choice of dining, Lot 13, Naked Olive, Country Inn, vegetarian restaurants and more worth exploring. BlackBerry Martinis at the Naked Olive alone worth the trip!! Coolfont Tree House Restaurant outside Berkeley Springs was very good. Roy's in center of town is a gas station with a fabulous down home food cafe, comfort food made like the old days. Museum, history, library, American Legion and other Posts, Farmers Market, organic grocery store, concerts, great Chamber of Commerce to help you discover our hidden gems. The Town of Bath (Berkeley Springs) is historical, artistic and friendly. Even our Post Office staff is fantastic! Enjoy.
Friendly people, good food. Nice historical town.
