We love the Shakespeare Festival. We love going to Cedar Breaks and Kolob Canyon. There are some great restaurants. We enjoy visiting the Art Museum (on campus) There is such a calming, comfortable vibe in Cedar City.
Clean town with lots of dining options even on a state holiday. Allways Towing and Fred at Steve's Shell were there to help seniors with car trouble on the interstate.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very nice and clean. Cedar is beautiful small town community very friendly and clean.
The Shakespearean Festival is fun to see in Cedar City. There are hikes and within about an hour you can drive through the beautiful Brian Head and Cedar Breaks areas. Very beautiful. The Parowan Gap is only about 45 minutes away. Fun for kids to explore with petroglyphs, etc.
The SUU Art Museum is fun to visit. A local pizza restaurant, Pizza Cart, is a great place to eat.
