The view of the Hudson River was lovely, the bike trail is great!
All the amenities of a college town!
Love Schenectady. I went to college at Union College back in the 60's and think the city is great. In fact we got married at the church right next door to the hotel
Historic buildings, Children's museum, Union College landscape, restaurants (Johnny's, Co-Co Café. and a great bakery/restaurant in Little Italy at the far end of Jay St). GE's influence in the history of the city and Proctors. Old photos of the area on display. and Proctor's itself is a great performing arts center with a rich history as well. Lot's of old buildings still in place and to actually have a vibrant downtown is a plus. Great shopping nearby (walking distance). It is a welcoming area and we will be back in the future just to have fun instead of performing.
