The hotel we stayed at was located 10 minutes from Van Buren and 15-20 minutes from downtown Fort Smith. There is easy access to I-40 and a variety of fast food restaurants nearby.
Historical fort smith park 3 blocks down by the riverfront was a nice walk. Love the downtown life alive with music and dinner. Atonal cemetery at the end of town has civil war up to present. Very nice
