The Lake Buena Vista center point is around the area of DisneyWorld and the area of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.
Like most of Central Florida, Lake Buena Vista boasts warm, humid temperatures for much of the year. Summers tend to get hot, with temperatures in the mid 90s and relatively frequent thunderstorms. As a family destination, however, summer tends to be the busiest time of year in Lake Buena Vista. If you can handle the heat and the crowds, visit during the summer and experience the area at its prime.
Crowds thin out somewhat during the spring and fall, when temperatures hover in the 70s and 80s. Spring break, however, is another busy time in Lake Buena Vista, and hotel rates often get expensive.
You're likely to score the lowest room rates and coolest temperatures when you visit in the winter. Keep in mind, however, that the resorts often get busy around the holidays in December.
When you choose one of these best value options in Lake Buena Vista, you'll get a comfortable place to stay in a convenient location.

When you visit Lake Buena Vista, a trip to Walt Disney World is a given. The biggest question is where to start. The oldest and perhaps most iconic park, Magic Kingdom Park is anchored by Cinderella Castle and is home to everything from Adventureland to Fantasyland. Nearby, Disney's Hollywood Studios highlights show business with attractions like Muppets Courtyard and Pixar Place.
The largest park in the Disney complex, Disney's Animal Kingdom highlights animal conservation and features areas like Discovery Island and DinoLand U.S.A. If you're looking to cool off in a water park, make it Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. For a look into technology and world culture, head to Epcot, which hosts a number of annual events and expositions.
Once you've had enough of the rides and waterslides at the parks, head to Disney Springs for shopping, dining, and entertainment. If you want to get further away from the theme parks, set your sights on Orlando's International Drive, an 11-mile stretch of shops, restaurants, and fun for all ages.
Whether you're planning a trip for the whole family or an adults-only getaway, Lake Buena Vista delivers. With budget hotels on the edge of the parks to luxury resorts in the center of the action, it's no wonder that Lake Buena Vista is a year-round vacation hotspot.
Lake Buena Vista is Walt Disney World Resort's alter ego, and is actually a city surrounded by the lake of the same name. Buena Vista means "good view", and the city of Orange County certainly has a panoramic view of magical towers and mystical palaces, all of which are because of Disney. The Walt Disney World has certainly turned the Lake Buena Vista wedge into the world's most desired and most lucrative tourist destination. Guests can travel through the massive resort's Kingdoms. The Magic Kingdom is predominantly for kids and jaded adults. The Epcot is the resort's celebration of world cultures, science, and technology, which is perfect for adults because of the long walks it entails. Tourists also enjoy the Hollywood Studios for good thrill rides that may appeal to almost anyone. The Animal Kingdom Park is the resort's newest attraction, which transport guests into an Asian and African wildlife. Of course, everything is still in Lake Buena Vista, and the resort is certainly the city's heart. The city also houses the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, which is a proof that Lake Buena Vista can offer something beyond its magical gates.
