Below are reviews of the city of Bay City, MI from an actual visitor's perspective.
Visited Beatles & Beans, MI Table and Riverwalk!
The service and staff were absolutely wonderful. Bay City was a beautiful destination! Coming from Northern Ontario, Canada it was especially surprising that the region's growing season was so much earlier than ours. Tulips and daffodils in full bloom, apple trees in blossom and walkable attractions such as the Brew House, Planetarium, beautiful architecture and 19th century church with active carillon.
Very nice city. Riverwalk is pretty. Been there several times and have always stayed at the DoubleTree.
Pretty view!
Bay City is easy to get around. Clean city with nice selection of restaurants. Friendly people and a beautiful riverwalk.
Location was good!
There seemed to be a lot of small businesses and the city was clean and easy to drive around.
Nice place!
The river and all the parks around it give the city its character.
Good room, front desk, bistro, plus on the water
Variety of restaurants and things to do in the area.
Very friendly, unique and safe downtown area. Several good restaurants.
I liked being downtown especially for the tree lighting ceremony.
Concierge recommend exelent steak house. Like the area.
The different events that Bay City has gives visitors lots of options to participate in.
Bay City PONY fans and officials for the PONY North Zone Tournament were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. The field was nice, but the area was very run down and industrial. Additionally the environment had a nasty, rotting, sewage smell all week. We were also disappointed that there were not a lot of Riverwalk options for dining. This would not be a place we would choose to return to.
