The staff at the Hilton Providence was second to none. Our family came from Kansas to Providence for a family wedding and the midwestern friendly vibes followed us all the way to Rhode Island! It started with the attendant at the check-in counter who accommodated our family by putting us all on one floor with rooms close to each other. A HUGE shout out to Joe the bartender and Jeff who ran the restaurant side of their in house bar/restaurant called "The Vig". Great food, outstanding service and the facility was so clean. From the lobby to our rooms, it always smelled fresh and clean. The cleaning staff also came every day and did such a nice job on our rooms. If you need a place to stay and are in the Providence, RI area, we highly recommend this property.

Nice hotel. Great location within walking distance of the convention center, Amica, Prov Place mall and Brown U. Room was clean and comfortable with skyline views. Vigs (restaurant in lobby) had a Sunday buffet which was reasonably priced, food wasn't bad. Starbucks is right around the corner. Parking was secure. We were allowed to leave our vehicle there while attending an event after checking out, very helpful.

Adjacent to the Dunkin Donuts Center and Rhode Island Convention Center, the Holiday Inn Providence Downtown is right between the restaurants of Federal Hill (Little Italy, 2 blocks away)and the attractions and restaurants of downtown. Trinity Repertory Company, Providence Place Mall, the East Side, with Brown U and RISD are just minutes away. Easy to find, we're just off I-95 in the heart of downtown.
