The Krone Unterstrass Hotel is a centrally located business and meeting hotel with four stars. It stands for tradition interpreted in a modern way and for hospitality.
The tram stops in front of the hotel. The Trams no. 11 and 14 brings you directly in front of our hotel and also there where the life in Zurich is going on: Main station, Zurich Fair, Hallenstadion, Opernhaus, Kongresshaus, Tonhalle, to the famous shopping street Bahnhofstrasse and last but not least to the wonderful lake of Zurich.
All 57 rooms are very tastefully decorated, modern, and completely renovated. Facilities in all rooms include air conditioning, a shower or bath and WC, digital direct-line telephone with fax and modem connection, Public Wireless LAN by Swisscom, digital room safe, flat-screen TV, radio, minibar, hairdryer and digital scales, a laundry service and lots more. The quiet location and the integrated sound insulating windows guarantee undisturbed sleep.
The popular «differente» Restaurant with its unique atmosphere, will tempt your palate every day of the week with light Mediterranean delicacies as well as with Swiss specialties. The stylish meeting and seminar rooms are well-equipped for your technology.
Let's talk business first: Our unique banquet, seminar and conference rooms have state-of-the-art conference technology, air-conditioning and plenty of natural light. Whether for conferences, corporate events, lectures or exhibitions, the rooms can be arranged in various ways to offer space for between 4 and 160 people.
And now to private matters: Since the rooms are extremely smart, they will also leave a lasting impression at private functions. The very modern yet traditional style of the large hall, with its wood-panelled ceiling, is perfect for private functions such as anniversaries, weddings and birthdays. At the new Townhouse which is located at the back of the hotel, 21 spacious and elegantly furnished rooms will be built by the end of the year 2018. Grace to a kitchenette and lots of luggage space, the rooms will be suitable for our guests with an extended stay as well.
