This town is well known for its annual Reading Festival, many people flock here in August to see and hear some amazing live music. These gardens are a Victorian formal garden which lead to the ruins of Reading Abbey. Reading Gaol is also worth a visit - it was the place Oscar Wilde was imprisoned. Due to the towns large student population there is quite a lot of things going on here in the evening. With endless options of fine dinging restaurants, stylish bars and clubs, visitors will be spoilt for choice.
