Meeting new people and walking through the downtown area. Also, we love the Opera House and have seen many wonderful acts there.

We enjoyed a sail on the Manitou. Ideal cruise for visitors to the area with great views of Grand Traverse Bay.

"Traverse City is the best weekend getaway in Michigan."
Score

Traverse City offers the small town friendliness that is most enjoyable. The shopping was good and diverse. The restaurants had menus that made it hard to make a choice because of the nice variety. We loved the personal attention given to every concern.
