I love being in Solvang, have been there many times. Enjoy the Danish pastries.
Very good food at Leonardo's and Leo's Cafe for breakfast.
A very nice hotel.
Just an incredible beautiful place to be!
The architecture. The many shops. Our dog was welcomed everywhere including some shops putting water outside the shop for pets. Excellent restaurants. The city was very animal friendly. It provided socializing with people who enjoyed our dog. We enjoyed sitting at a table to read at the small Square of Cecco and the Dolce Cafe. We loved Paula's Pancake House. Great breakfasts.
City is nice and clean!
Nice place.
Everything is close and very walkable!
Great places to eat!
We loved the restaurant (Solvang restaurant) and the open faced sandwich plate. We also enjoyed strolling through the gardens and grounds of the mission.
Loved the open face sandwiches at Solving Restaurant and the Abel Schievor's! The people there were very friendly also. We very much enjoyed strolling through the grounds of the mission.

A nice variety of restraints and shops. Good good and pastries.
The town is quaint, and everything is within walking distance. Shop owners are friendly, and the local food offers traditional Danish food but also an array of other eateries for those interested in other kinds of food (American, Italian, Mexican etc.). Although I didn't venture in any wine tours, they are abundant in the valley and something to save for next time. Large room, clean and comfortable.

Museums. Restaurants. Bakeries.
Food, food, food and also great shopping. Bought shoes, souvenir and clothing.
The baked goods, the chocolate shop and the restaurant right next to hotel was excellent.
Quaint town that makes you feel like you're very far from home.
Walkable, cute shops, nice people, good food.
We love Solvang, this is my third visit, my daughter's second. It felt like we were in Europe!
Solvang is beautiful, the mountain range is majestic, and the locals are friendly at least during Danish Days. No shortage of pastry shops.
Love it!
Great city!
Loved the fun shops!
The scenery!
Awesome brewery and coffee shops.
Though Solvang itself is quite touristy, it did have a nice beer garden, and there were some fantastic restaurants such as the Mad & Vin, which we recommend fully. The rooms were quite reasonable, and you are centrally located to many other attractions and places to visit.
Fun, touristy, good food at Tuscana Pizzeria!
First time to visit Solvang. I was born in Denmark so Solvang brought back many memories from open-faced sandwiches to bakery treats. Nice weekend trip.
The food at Coast Range was unforgettable!
Solvang is a fun escape, lots of small specialty businesses, good food and bakeries. Nice parks, good location to explore more of the coast or inland locations. We would go back for a longer stay.
It's uniqueness; a lovely visit.
Being of 2nd & 3rd generation Danish-American descent we were really looking forward to seeing what Solvang had to offer. We had a great time experiencing museums, shops, and food. We also enjoyed traveling through the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. If I could afford to live anywhere in California, it would be Santa Ynez Valley.
Love Solvang summertime and winter! Very quaint cultural escape.
The opportunity to try Danish foods was amazing. The small hometown shops were great too.
Quaint and cozy little town to visit
Lots of food options and the PCPA Theatre was awesome!
It was so beautiful, plenty of different kinds of shops, biking available, great restaurants, easy to navigate. I loved the Danish charm. I truly hope to go back and take my family one day.
I loved the Mission, and the charming streets full of shops and restaurants. Solvang is very clean and felt safe.
Overall this hotel stay is good for our group, but we have a question about the "house keeping"? They don't do it every day? And, if they can improve not taking breakfast outdoor will be better. We enjoy the stay.
Awesome location, lots of outdoor activities to take advantage of.
Solvang is adorable. You have to get treats at the bakeries to fully experience the area.
It's Danish ambience and hospitality was close to leaving the country without a passport. I love the opportunity to taste the wonderful wines and craft beers/ales from the surrounding purveyors. All the food, pastries and candy make it such a unique experience. You'll be gastronomically satisfied from breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert.
