The National Hotel was a fantastic experience with excellent customer service and quaint historic rooms. They are right off of the ferry and located centrally in the tourist area. The hot lobster rolls are the best bite on the island and a must have while visiting even if you stay elsewhere. I would recommend the National to anyone who was planning on visiting Block Island.

Property Description
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the National Hotel is a restored hotel with modern conveniences and ocean views. We have a magnificent porch overlooking the harbor; our Tap & Grille is the perfect spot to dine or enjoy cocktails.All rooms have been renovated with private baths & flat screen televisions. We have two rooms which offer air conditioning otherwise all rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and desk fans. We do not have an elevator in the hotel.We specialize in Room Blocks, Rehearsals Dinners, Cocktail Parties & Small Group Meetings.
