Built in 1974, the Wells Fargo Arena is home to the Arizona State University Sun Devils men's and women's basketball teams. Located in just outside of Phoenix in Tempe, Arizona, the arena has more than 14,000 seats and is also used for local graduations and concerts. It is also used for college volleyball, gymnastics, and wrestling competitions. In 1990, the Wells Fargo Arena was host to the 1990 Pacific Ten Conference men's basketball tournament.The massive arena boasts a state-of-the-art multimillion dollar video scoreboard in center-court as well as two White Way matrix scoreboards at either end of the arena. The arena also has offices, locker rooms, space for weight training, a training room, and an equipment room inside the 400-foot long, 340-foot wide, six-story tall structure.
