Florida summers are hot and muggy, with high levels of humidity that can zap your energy. If you're planning a trip to Cocoa Beach with the whole family, there are a lot of activities that are geared towards a family getaway. If you've never tried surfing, here's the time to go. There are quite a few surfing schools located right in Cocoa Beach, and you can schedule some lessons while you're there. Kids love the boat tours to see dolphins and manatees in the area, or you could schedule a fishing expedition. Active families might enjoy kayak tours or paddle boarding.
Head to Cocoa Beach Pier to catch site of dolphins or to view the sun rising. Choose one of the local miniature golf courses and challenge your family to a golf tournament.
