Nachdem sich das Hotel im Jahr 2009 eine Pause gegönnt hat, wurde seit Mitte Mai 2010 die Fahrt wieder aufgenommen. Familie Eimannsberger und Familie Schweiger führen das Ruder mit ihrer freundlichen Mannschaft. Umgeben von ländlicher Idylle und doch zentral gelegen bieten wir Ihnen exklusive Gastlichkeit, gepaart mit dem perfekten Rahmen für Firmen- und Privatveranstaltungen.
Da wir stets bestrebt sind den Gästen einen besonders angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten, wurden nun seit Juli 2013 bereits einige Zimmer aufwändig renoviert und erstrahlen in neuem Glanz.
Unsere Küchen- und Restaurantphilosophie orientiert sich an kulinarische Hochgenüsse des Küchenchefs Andreas Schußmann. Gemeinsam mit seinem Team gelingt es ihm immer wieder, auch unsere verwöhntesten Gäste, zu überraschen. Frische Produkte von den Bauern der Nachbarschaft sind die Basis seiner leichten Küche mit starkem Bezug zu einheimischen Gerichten.
Im Sommer bietet unsere Sonnenterasse eine dichte Laubdecke, feine Schattenplätze neben Blumen, Grünpflanzen und eine schöne Aussicht. Als Rastplatz versteht sich dieser Gastgarten, als Ort zum Durchatmen und zum launigen Verweilen. Genießen Sie unser reichhaltiges Sortiment an edelsten Weinen namhafter Winzer und sorgfältig gewählte Edeldestillate. Erfreuen Sie sich am wertvollen Sortiment an Zigarren in unserer stimmungsvollen Lounge.
Ein weiteres Highlight unseres Hauses: unsere Schaubrauerei „Bräu zur Isar“. Die Eröffnung und Einweihung fand am 08. Oktober 2011 statt. Hinter unserer Brauereitür warten auf Sie bayrische Schmankerl und unser selbstgebrauter Gerstensaft auf Sie.
Das "Bräu zur Isar" ist eine kleine private Brauerei mit einem völlig eigenständigen Charakter und das einzige hausgebraute Bier in Niederbayern in Plattling, dass täglich 15 Stunden frisch gezapft wird.
Lassen Sie sich von handwerklichem Geschick, Idealismus und Liebe zum Brauen begeistern. Brautradition hat im Hotel zur Isar einen hohen Stellenwert. Gerne kann man unserem Braumeister Fabian Staudinger bei einem zünftigen Braukurs über die Schulter schauen.
Bis über die Landkreisgrenzen hinaus bekannt ist unser Musikanten-Stammtisch. Jeden ersten Donnerstag im Monat treffen sich musikbegeisterte Gäste und verbringen wunderbare Stunden miteinander.
Seit November 2013 können Sie sich in unserem Steakhouse „Isarplatz´l“ auf eine kulinarische Reise in die Welt von feinsten Steaks mit erlesenen Zutaten, zubereitet von unserem Küchenchef am eigens erbauten Buchenholz-Grill begeben. Freuen Sie sich auf saftige Steaks von Angus, Galloway oder Bison aus Freiland-Haltung und lassen Sie sich von unserem zuvorkommenden Service mit der passenden Weinbegleitung oder Bierauswahl beraten und verwöhnen.
