The GL hotel*** is located directly on the Krakonošovo square in the historical centre of Trutnov. Shops, banks, ATMs, currency exchange office, post office, cultural and sports centres are available for our guests around.The capacity of our hotel is convenient for large groups and individual clients. The three-star hotel offers 24 stylish rooms with 56 beds of different categories (Standard, Luxury and VIP suite) based on client requirements. The rooms dispose of an own bathroom and a free Wi-Fi access.Our guests can choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms.All our rooms are warm and bright with south-facing windows.Selected rooms offer beautiful viewsacross the historical town centre – the Krakonošovo square with monuments like the neo-gothic Old Town Hall, the Krakonoš fountain from 1892 or the 11 meter high baroque Column of the Holy Trinity. The quadrangular shaped square is surrounded by houses with arcades from the 18th, 19th and 20th century. A luxury hotel café and restaurant is available to guests seven days a week.A Wi-Fi internet access is available in all rooms for hotel guests, as well as for the restaurant, café and summer garden café customers. Reception services are available from 6 or 7 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. We accommodate guests and we are reachable by telephone (+420 733 206 868) 24 hours a day.The hotel complex is connected with a luxurious and stylish restaurant, where only the perception of the space and the music of the Old Masters is a fabulous experience. The restaurant creates an intimate atmosphere for romantic dinners, corporate events, family celebrations and weddings. The restaurant has a capacity for 46 people. We offer sitting in the space of restaurant or in separate boxes for more privacy. On warm days, guests can sit in our summer garden in front of the hotel and enjoy a fantastic view across the Krakonošovo Square. The restaurant is available for guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here they can relish for example fresh homemade breads, pastries and a „Cuisine à la Minute“. Our executive chef creates a menu from local fresh ingredients without chemical additives or glutamate. We offer particularly modern Czech cuisine and local specialties of Krkonoše (Giant Mountains), but with us the guests can also enjoy Angus steaks from local farms. Our helpful staff will advise our customers and recommend the most suitable dish for them from the menu.Another unique part of our hotel is a modern Café, styled in luxury design of the First Czechoslovak Republic´s coffee houses. We serve GL branded coffee, which is produced from our original coffee blends and roasted by a family coffee roaster. Furthermore, in the GL Café our clients can experience a unique selection of only top branded alcoholic beverages, carefully selected for their originality. They can enjoy Drinks of Kings, alcohol produced in Czech Republic, which is intended only for export or as a limited edition that will never be repeated. Also genuine Champagne, homemade hot chocolate and homemade whipped cream are obvious for us. The sound of jazz and soul subtly fills the Cafés atmosphere making everybody forget their every day´s worries and let them slip in a state of peace and tranquillity.
