Sugar Ridge is one of Antigua's newest hotels (opened December 2009) with sixty hillside rooms, which have been grouped in fours allowing each to enjoy the spectacular setting. Just across the road from Sugar Ridge is a casino, a marina, an 18 hole golf course, and some of Antigua's best beaches are just minutes away.Sugar Ridge has two restaurants, Carmichaels the open air fine dining restaurant, which has been designed to ensure diners can fully appreciate the stunning views from its hill top location and the sensational sunsets. The main hotel restaurant is located in the heart of the resort overlooking the main swimming pool and adjacent shopping arcade. The resort has two fresh water pools, one with infinity edge, and the other with a lap pool. A 6,000 sq ft Spa provides guests with an extensive range of facilities including a state of the art gym, aerobics and yoga studio, treatment and relaxation rooms providing the very latest in holistic therapies.All guest rooms are furnished in a modern, contemporary style, yet retaining the elegance of the Caribbean with colonial accents. The muslin draped four poster beds are the centre piece of each room, complimented by state of the art amenities including flat screen TVs, IPod dockers, electronic safes, and mini-refrigerators. Even the bedroom locks are activated by a sound frequency in the key card, ensuring privacy and security. The large veranda includes a day bed whilst the ground floor rooms are complete with their own plunge pool. The hotels concierge service ensures convenient access to each room to and from reception, and all the service of the resort.
