Although this hotel is a little bit older (1970) I found it to be clean and very comfortable. I have recommended it to friends and family very often. Your staff is amazing. Everyone here is helpful and welcoming. Sammy was a great. He made everything easy. He upgraded our room and fixed it so we could stay an additional night without having to move to another room. Very efficient and cordial. He was the anchor in the storm.

Towel racks please! A bar to grab onto while in shower. I know there will be no upgrades as a new hotel is coming. I hope the new rates will be similar so we can continue to stay here! We love Dana Point!

The room was standard with a nice yacht basin view. Staff accommodated early check in needed for mid afternoon wedding. Breakfast was very good.

Due to high turn over, unable to properly sanitize room, too many rooms for one maid. Need more staff when that busy. Price gouging. 😞.

"For $330 a night, we expected so much more."

This was one of the most disappointing hotels we have ever stayed in. The door jamb of our room had been pulled out and had nails showing. The air conditioner was so loud, even ear plugs didn’t help. There were so many things that needed updating that I can’t list them all. It is criminal that they charge $330 for this room. My sister’s room was even worse. The carpet in her room was so filthy, I would never have someone stay there. She had water dripping through the ceiling in her shower whenever the people above her took a shower. To say this place is a dump is an understatement. The only positive thing is the front desk staff were very nice.

Nice hotel in a great location. You can't beat the location of this hotel. It’s right in the marina with access to shops and restaurants right from the front door. The views are incredible in all directions. The hotel is only a minute or so away from the PCH so its easy to get to any other location you might want to visit.
