Room was good size, great continental breakfast appearance. The ladies working the continental breakfast were very nice and paid great attention to details and appearance. 9/10.. it would of been 10/10 if there was bacon. 😀

I thought I would book a room close to one of my appointments. What mistake. There's not a lot of positives during my stay. I got a trash bag for my purse after being exposed to their bedbug infestation... That was nice... And I got a small cup of coffee. They tried to put me in a pet free room ... It was awful.

Nice hotel, clean, good staff, rooms are roomy and nice. Just Make Sure that your Room Heater isn't broken? We are an older couple and we couldn't get the DARN heater to turn down? After quite some time trying to Adjust the temperature we finally just figured out how to turn it off and tried to sleep on top of the bad covers with the Window open.(Thank God for that!) I didn't get much sleep but the wife was able to rest at least. Thank You

As the state capital Helena is obviously central in the development and history of Montana. The early wealth generated by vast mineral resources, lumber and cattle can be seen in the buildings and mansions from the 1880s in the center of town.
Downtown is now devoted to coffee shops, restaurants, gift shops and antique stores. The Cathedral, Capital building and Governors Mansion are worth seeing. Fort Harrison, the birthplace of the First Special Forces " Devils Brigade" is of special interest to military history buffs.

If your an out of state tourist , you have the Capital building to see. Holter lake is not to far away and I hear that the "Gates of the Mountians" tour is very seanic and pretty. I suppose there is other things to do there also but I only come over to Helena once in a great while to visit Fort Harrison for medical appointments.

Overall stay was satisfactory
My previous experience of Best Western hotels have been in the UK where the overall experience has been average with generally tired hotels. However, the opposite was the case at this hotel in Helena. The staff were very helpful the room a really good size and great value for money. There was also a very good sized swimming pool and fitness centre. The general location was good for Helena (just 15 minute walk to the main centre) and there was a nicely kept area just outside the hotel to sit and eat lunch/have a drink.
Bed had good sheets and pillows. I'm short, however, and it was a little high for me to get in/out of. Air conditioning was good -- we stayed there during a heat wave! List of restaurants in the area was useful -- wish there had been a map to see where they were in relation to the hotel, had to find a nearby place to eat dinner on my Kindle as we are not familiar with Helena. Staff was doing a good job despite the labor shortage, however -- polite and generally helpful.
The first room I booked was really terrible - in fact, I didn't even go in after viewing the outside and the surroundings. The outside looked old, worn and dirty. Also scary - like it was unsafe to stay there. The cars parked outside were the same. The Ramada should not be renting this part of the hotel without giving patrons a warning about what it is like. I rebooked and was happy with my room.
Excellent location, great layout and nice comfortable room. We stayed in a pet room that was perfect. We had an exterior door leading to a small fenced courtyard that easily accessed places to take the dog. Loved not having to wander through the hotel with her Everytime. We only stayed one night but this room would be perfect for extended trips with pets.
Our room layout was really functional and unique in that it didn’t look like a run of the mill hotel room. The extra space made it really comfortable. It was also very clean. The breakfast had a nice variety of items. I was impressed by how many oatmeal toppings were offered. We really enjoyed the hot tub after being outside in the chilly weather all day.
Your motel/hotel? is great. The beds are Comfortable, The breakfast is good with several different choices to cover just about anyones tastes and last but not least is the people that make it that way! Thanks
