Property Description
Our Inn and State Park provide you and your family with a wide variety of activities to entertain and relax. Activities around the park include 10.7 miles of hiking trails that take you along the beech and maple woods that lead to Wolf Cave and a nature center and full-time naturalist staff. From late Spring through early Fall you can enjoy the swimming pool, saddle barn, tennis courts and recreation center as well as a schedule of cultural arts programs (weather permitting). The Winter season provides an opportunity to walk the trails observing nature in a different setting and then relaxing in front of the fire in the Inn lounge.
Located in Owen County, you will be within a few miles of the White River for canoe rental, two golf courses, antique and craft stores.
Our location is also within easy access to Bloomington (home of Indiana University and Big Ten Sports, Little 500, opera, theatre and dance productions, and museums). Bloomington also has one of the largest Antique Malls in the vicinity. Indianapolis, an hour north, features the Indianapolis 500 track and museum, the Children's Museum, Indianapolis Zoo, professional sports, Eiteljorg Museum, IUPUI, Indianapolis Symphony and MUCH MORE!
