Property Description

A United Methodist Church facility, Mount Sequoyah Retreat and Conference Center sits among 32 acres of woodland beauty atop a mountain overlooking the city of Fayetteville. Two miles away the city hums and bustles, but on the mountain top all is calm. Our motto is, "Tranquility Above the City," and whether we are holding nature classes or religious study conferences, hosting the football game crowd, or providing rooms for 300 bike riders attending the annual Bikes, Blues, and BBQ festival, we provide peace, relaxation, and renewal. Guests may choose to stay in our cottage guest rooms that house between 1 and 4 persons (all rooms are $75 per night) or in our dormitories or bunk house ($20 per person, per night--all bedding and towels provided). Our meeting rooms provide space for groups between 20 and 400 at rates from $50 to $600. Meals are catered and excellent (NOT camp food). They are served buffet style at the following rates: Breakfast-$7.50; Lunch-$9.00; Dinner-$13.00. There are also limited facilities in which to cook and prepare your own food. We are non-profit, so there are NO TAXES on lodging, meeting spaces, or food!
